Payment may be made for your order by credit or debit card or by one of the other options shown such as Google Payments. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Pobjoy, you will need to contact your card issuer directly to solve this problem, and Pobjoy will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Where purchases are made from Pobjoy via online credit facilities or serial payment plans or contracts such as, for example, Klarna pay-in-three £1,000 maximum, any such credit or staged payment arrangements are entered into between you and the related service provider directly. Pobjoy does not provide credit purchase facilities directly to customers.
“Card Verification Value” is an anti-fraud feature to help ensure that the person placing an order is in possession of the credit card. The CVV is usually a three or sometimes four digit number printed on the front or back of the credit card. The CVV appears in different places on different types of cards: American Express: Four digit number printed on the front of the card, above the end of the embossed account number. MasterCard / Visa / Discover / Diners Club / JCB: The final three digits printed on the signature panel on the back of the card, following the account number.
In addition to PayPal it is possible to pay directly by bank transfer to Pobjoy for your items. Because Pobjoy does not incur credit or debit card costs on direct transfers we will deduct or credit back 1% of the total purchase price to you when paying by transfer. Please contact us when checking out and we shall send you the appropriate banking details and instructions by SMS or email.
Payments in cash maybe accepted solely at our discretion and shall also be subject to the UK HMRC's high value cash payment limit of E10,000 or GBP equivalent at the time.
EXPORT DUTIES & TAXES
All our published prices include UK VAT at 20%.In some cases we are able to export our products direct without VAT applied at source and the customer will be responsible for establishing and paying any duties involved. All Pobjoy Diamonds jewellery and loose diamonds are sent from England, and any duties are calculated accordingly. The Simply Duty calculator enables you to estimate these costs. Simply select the destination country, currency and type of item and then input the net cost (by deducting the 20% VAT included in all Pobjoy Diamonds published prices shown on this site) and the calculator will provide the duties and taxes you will be required to pay the relevant authorities.
