6 month warranty term. Where we provide you a warranty, if your pre-owned watch develops a fault within the warranty period and is no longer covered by the manufacturer's warranty, then you can send it in to us to get a formal quote from our preferred qualified repairer.
If you then decide to proceed with the repairs as quoted, we will pay for the repair costs excluding parts subject to a maximum value of 10% of the price you originally paid for your pre-owned watch. **
Alternatively if your pre-owned watch has any remaining manufacturer's warranty, then you can send your watch to them for repair either via us or via an authorised retailer.
* Applies to online orders only. You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to return the watch. Subject to notifying us within this 14 day period you have a total of 28 days from receipt to return the watch to us for a full refund. The watch must be in the same condition as supplied to you.
The purchase of a pre-owned watch subsequent to it's inspection by you in person shall be on an "as seen" basis and shall not be returnable to us nor the purchase price refundable to you by us.
** Please note that our warranty covers manufacturing and mechanical defects only. Usual wear-and-tear or damage caused to the watch by mishandling/mistreatment or accidents are also excluded. Damage caused to a watch due to submersion in water which is against the manufacturer's guidance, such as water ingression due to an open winding crown, is also excluded from this warranty as is wear and deterioration of the watch strap.
Any modification to a watch by the addition or substitution of components by products which have not been provided by the manufacturer or in situ when purchasing the watch from Pobjoy will also invalidate this warranty.
